Attend the 24th Annual Town of Mount Pleasant Blessing of the Fleet and Seafood Festival, The full slate of activities include local seafood from East Cooper restaurants, live music by East Coast Party Band and Southwood, shag and shrimp eating contests, juried craft show, an art display by Mount Pleasant Artists’ Guild, Sweetgrass basket displays, and children’s activities.
Blessing procession on the pier starts at 12:45 and Blessing of the Fleet and Parade of Boats at 1:00. This event is sponsored by the Town of Mount Pleasant Office of Community Development & Tourism, the Accomodations Tax Committee, and the Blessing of the Fleet Committee.
